This sura is either Makkan or Medinan and has 4 or 5 ayats.
1. Say: ‘He is Allah, Absolute Oneness. The Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, was asked about his Lord and then this was revealed.
2. Allah, the Everlasting Sustainer of all. He is the One to whom people always turn for their needs.
3. He has not given birth, and was not born. This is a negation of any one else having the same nature as Him, because He is not subject to temporality.
4. And no one is comparable to Him.’
